I cannot believe I was so stupid and turned the bolt the wrong way when doing an oil change.

It was the oil drain plug on the engine and now I cannot tighten to the correct torque without it just spinning.

It seems to be just about tight enough not to leak but I guess this will show now in the next few weeks, what options do I have?

As im not happy to leave it like this.

Couple of possible alternatives: You may have just stripped the plug, which would just require its replacement; but you may have also stripped what it screws into. As you have no idea of the system's integrity (e.g.: if the plug will stay put or not), you need to have this looked at. If that plug drops out while on the road, the results could be a disaster.

Ouch!!! I really hope you just strip the plug....Order a new one and try to torque it! The number of the plug on the crankcase is 944 107 197 01 and the torque is 52 foot/pounds...Good luck!
