Ok, so I got LED bulbs and put them License Plate Light which located top underneath of the rear bumper. Well the bulbs do not stay on and actually flicker when I hit bumps or bang my hand against the bumper they either flicker or go out completely. What's the deal? I inspected the internals on the harness and light socket to my surprise nothing was wrong with them i could see... now what are my options? Get a whole new 997 631 620 02 for the left and right side? Or does the LED bulbs do this in this patricular location? Any help be grateful .

I would take them out and then tinker with them with the license plate light on. Hopefully you can determine where the bad contact is as you move it about

I took mine off a while back and found a lot of corrosion on the terminals. If you find the same thing, I would lightly sand the copper contacts so they make a better connection.

Good luck

The led lamp is usually 2 to 3mm shorter, try to pry out a little the copper contacts in the lamp case.
