Mini tire compressor

After a weeks back country driving where two of our group had flat tires I want to get a good quality mini compressor, my 996 did not come with one, does anyone have any suggestions as to which after market units are good quality. Most US parts suppliers now ship to Australia so I would look to buy one from the US. Anyone tried the ones on offer from Sears?

Highe quality, super quiet and fast. If you have used those cheap portable ones, you know how loud those are.

I just plug it in the cigaretter lighter socket. Best with engine on since it draws quite a bit of current (~10-15A) but can also be used with engine off when just topping off a tire or two.

Self contained, but the built-in gauge is ****e. Use a discrete gauge.

I like this one, it has the slime on one side and also a nice gauge. Good product.

I wouldn't classify it as mini, but it is smallish for a compressor that has so many features.
