Hi,

I just bought a 2001 996 and I know something is missing from my headlight washer but I don't know what! Here is a picture. Both headlights look like this! Can someone tell me what I need to buy to make it look right or repair it?

Thank you!!

996-628-334-00 Right front headlight washer nozzle -- US MSRP $192.64

So I just had one of the tips on my 2000 cab fly off last night. Really.....I have to replace the whole nozzle for $193. No replacement tips?????

No replacement tips. I just replaced my passenger side nozzle. I paid $144 and change shipped from Sonnen Porsche. Replacement is fairly easy. You remove the headlight to access the nozzle, The hardest part was getting the original hose clamp off. Since I never use these washers, I seriously considered removing the nozzles, plugging the hoses, and replacing the headlight triangles with the ones that don't have holes. At http://www.suncoastparts.com/ the triangles will run you $52 a piece.

Thanks for the gouge - much less expensive to repair just the nozzle.  I am curious how many people actually use the headlight washers?  I only turn them on by accident...

Thanks, flightparties, for the hint. While I don't need one right now, that's good info to store away!  And, no, have never used the washers. Don't want water spots on my paint!  (intend to try them *some* day just to see if they work.)
