I have a 1999 Boxster with 85k miles on it. Due to some rough idling, I decided to clean out the MAF sensor and the throttle body.

After reading online and in books on how to remove the throtte body, I was successful. However after removing it I noticed a small tube tree that connects to the throttle body. Looking at diagrams online I never see this tube referenced.

Anyone know what this tube is and if it is supposed to connect to something?

I think that is the line that goes into the evap purge valve.

I've checked other posts and all of them state that the purge valve is on the drivers side. Mine appears to be on the passenger side.

Atttached is a photo. I believe the item circled in red is the purge valve.

Sak, you're absolutely right. That 4 mm vacuum hose off the passenger side intake manifold boot connects to the check valve you circled.
