idler pulleys upper and lower?

I just ordered new idler pulleys, both upper and lower 997 102 118 00 and 997 102 119 00, for my 99 carrera.

My son removed the pulleys from the packaging and now I cannot tell which is which..they look both the same with the exception of the washer on one side...I didn't see any part number on the pulleys (I must be blind) and since they have different part numbers on the packaging, it must matter which one goes where.

Can somebody please help me identify which one is upper and which is lower please...I posted a photo underneath.

Thanks, but can you also identify which pulley is the 118 upper and 119 lower...I cannot find any identifying part numbers on the actual parts and they have been removed from the boxes...or does it not really matter...? Regards, Dylan

Not from those pictures, no.

Do you have the old parts to compare them with? Perhaps measure the inside diamater and depth of the inner races.

I am guessing they are slightly different due to two different part numbers.
