Hello,

I just received my Durametric kit for my 2001 Boxster & have a couple of questions:

1) The car shows 117k on th odometer but Durametric is telling me about 18K, it was about 16k yesterday. Is this an anomoly?

2) I selected activate the OBC but don't get the outdoor temp indication on the gauge. Durametric tells me the OBC is activated. Any ideas?

1. Does not sound right. Check with Durametric for bugs.

2. Is there an "order type" in the vehicle information? If not, then it won't save any changes.

If memory serves, a 2001 Boxster will not have any OBC displays until some type of controling switch (e.g.: the fourth stalk or a momentary contact rocker switch) is installed and operational.

The Durametric problems sounds like a glitch.

Thanks gentlemen, I will contact Durametric on the mileage issue.

I figured the OBC thing might have something to do with a switch being connected, but wanted to make sure before I went through the time to install it.

JFP in PA is correct on MY2001 and newer (new style cluster) the switch needs to be in place before you see any changes.

But as I said make sure the order type is there too.

There were some recent bugs in the information display sections of Durametric which I believe were fixed in the latest and greatest version. I encountered these bugs a couple times and have not with the newest version downloaded.
