Where is the engine to chassis ground strap. I know is on the passenger side, in the back but where exactly, any pic, drawing, diagram?

One thing I always do with ground straps is clean the fastener really well with a wire brush then brush on some conductive grease (I use metallic anti-seize) on the connections. It assures a good ground and stops corrosion from building up in the future.

hi8ha, did replacing the ground strap solve your issue? Any good DIY or instructions on it, I can't seem to find one?

Thanks,

DS

invius, check this post:

http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/29210-picture-or-drawing-showing-the-ground-strap-from-body-to-engine/?hl=%2Bground+%2Bstrap

It worked fine but did not solve the problem a 100%. I don't use the car too often. Lately is acting up a little in that respect, shooting to replace the cable in this post: http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/45408-alternator-voltage/?hl=%2Bground+%2Bstrap#entry246087.

Here is the DIY for the above cable. http://www.renntech.org/forums/tutorials/article/351-alternator-starter-motor-cable-replacement/

Hope this help.
