Passenger Power Window Control from Driver Side

I'm not sure if this is normal and I don't see it in the manual but when I close the passenger window from the Driver Side or passenger controls, the window goes up about 1/2 way up then drops down to about 1/4 way, then stops. When I push the close button again it goes all the way up.

Why is it doing this? Is this some anti-crushing feature in case somebody's head or arm gets stuck?

No, its not normal. Somehow it thinks that there is high resistance while going up, but not sure.

Thanks, it seems to open and close fine when the door is open. So I suspect that it's encountering some resistance when the door is closed. The problem seemed to have disappeared now that I've opened and closed the window about 50 times while testing it.

I'll have the dealer check it out if it happens again. I hate it when I take the car in and the problem miraculously disappears!
