I have an 05 CTT. Just checked the pcm and here are the versions I see (took over number from top of display on each screen):

On all screens, a line at top says: sw versions: 1.0 - not sure if it refers to each screen.

Navigation system: target: / actual: 00179159/4004

Satellite radio: target: 0140/2004 actual: 0140/2004

Amplifier: target: 00016457/3804. Actual: 00016457/3804

System software: target: 04114AD1/1104. Actual: 04114AD1/1104

PCM: target: 04202FD1/2704. Actual: 04202FD1/2704

Living in the USA (TX).

What I would like to know is:

1. What would I need to do to update to latest software versions (attempting to update navigation maps). Detailed explanation of what software and version levels needed, sequence of update will be greatly appreciated.

2. Does anyone have a set of discs that would help me (would love a pm on this topic if possible).

Again, greatly appreciate the help from you. Have a great day/night.

If you update to the later software whatever map DVD your using right now won't work anymore though, on the other had you can not use the latest Map data DVD without updating to the later software.

Greatly appreciate it.

That's certainly the only legal way to obtain one.. the disks are copyrighted, and most copyright holders get very testy with website owners who allow people to sell/swap/give-away illegal disk copies. Of course if you could find a recent disk from a car wrecker, that's a different story (I think.. haven't studied the license that carefully..)
