I have a 2006 Cayenne S, my radio works sometimes and not others! It has the BOSE System, i have changed the head unit and amplifier- no positive result, any ideas on what could be wrong? Still works (sometime).

Please be more descriptive and list the radio model and whatever modules added factory or otherwise, when you say it's not working what does it not do? No volume, no display, doesn't power on, etc,etc.....

This type of intermitant fault is common place in 955 Cayenne. Most of the time its ok and sometimes the car needs to reboot, (turn it off and leave it off for 5 minutes then try again) No reliable fix

If you replaced the head unit it sounds like it may be a failure or (bad connection) of the MOST bus. If it turns on but you don't hear sounds but see the radio frequency then it is the MOST bus. As Wvicary said, have you had any add-ons such as a Mobridge or Dension?

Mine does the same thing. 04 Turbo with PCM/Nav unit and Bose (standard on Turbo). Whole unit turns off (screen goes blank) and turns on again every few minutes.
