Cayenne S Coolant Leaks

Has anyone had an issue with the coolant piping leaking under the manifold? Dealer is claiming that the existing pipes are plastic and need to be replaced with aluminum ones.

Could this be a DIY project?

Same thing happened to mine. I had the used-car warranty on it and it was, thankfully - fully covered. Twice, actually. Not sure what the issues were other than the original plastic pipe replacement, though.

if yours is a TT there are 2 parts, the coolant pipes and the T pipe at the back, warranty people only do the minimum even if it means double the work eventually
