Hi, I found this under the car. About 2,5cm -1 inch long. Does anyone know what it is ?

I just finished putting back engine M96.03 (3.6L) + manual transmission. I found it under the transmission.

Thanks

Marc

That's a shift cable clip. Where the cables clip into the sides of the transmission.

Put some zip ties around those cables where they are supposed to fasten to the side of the trans (not on the shift arms/levers themselves, but where the clips are).

It is about 3/4 inch long?

If so it looks like the clip that keeps the shifter cables in the gearshift bracket - but that is inside the car.

So it was too easy, for you !

Thanks logray, thanks Loren. I should find a good example on the other cable. I'll look closer.
