I put my Durametric (software version 5) on this vehicle. I haven't used it much so I'm not sure what to make of the codes it gave for the components below. I'd appreciate it if anyone can shed some light on them. Categories not reported showed no faults. I didn't look at the live data or whatever it's called because I didn't want to mess with anything. But the motor was running when I took the readings so that the battery wouldn't go dead.

Here's the output summary:

If the battery voltage goes low for whatever reason you will get bogus codes such as these. Record all codes, clear them from all control units and monitor any that return.

Fault code 778 - Steering-angle Sensor

No signal from sensor.

Fault code 955 - Kessy

Battery in key is discharged.

Fault code 353 - Blower regulator not functioning

Feedback signal front blower regulator (manual, 2-zone and 4-zone air conditioning)

Low battery voltage or faulty controller.

Fault code 907 - Load management on vehicle electrical system

Low battery voltage or damaged wiring harness.

I agree with wvicary - replace the main battery, clear the codes and see if any come back.

Usually a battery issue. ALl kinds of strange things happen on Cayenne when the battery is weak or about to die.
