Can Nav be added afterwards on the 997? if so anyone know the cost? is it a diy project? Thanks

Yes it can be retrofit. The package you buy for retrofit will depend on what (MOST) options are already on the car (i.e. CDR23, CD Changer, Amp, BOSE).

There is a 10 page TSB with installation instructions and it estimates about 3 hours of work. You will also need to have a shop or dealer turn on and configure the PCM2.1 option with a Porsche PIWIS tester after the install.

FYI, the dealer where I purchased the car is installing the Nav this coming Friday for the factory cost of $2070.

Its has a black interior. Originally looking for a triple black car even though I loved yellow, but you can never find them. Dealership had both, it was a tough decision for me, but the wife was sold on yellow, so thats the one we got.
