Hello at all!!

I am Alex from France, i have a Cayenne Turbo 2003 with 68,750miles (110.000kms)..

I have a problem with cylinder 3 & 7, when i have do check control with durametric, the result is:

Bosch Digital Motor Electronics 7.1.1

Codes d'erreur actuels

P0300:

Some missfire detected - Value below lower limit value, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and causing a DTC light

P0303:

Missfire detected cyl. 3 - Value below lower limit value, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and causing a DTC light

P0307:

Missfire detected cyl. 7 - Value below lower limit value, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and causing a DTC light

When i run "short test" on all vehicle with durametric 6, i found same problems but with different ERROR CODE

Bosch Digital Motor Electronics 7.1.1

Codes d'erreur actuels

P2C01:

Some missfire detected - Value below lower limit value, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and causing a DTC light

P2F01:

Missfire detected cyl. 3 - Value below lower limit value, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and causing a DTC light

P3301:

Missfire detected cyl. 7 - Value below lower limit value, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and causing a DTC light

I have never see in the past this error codes, i've found error code p3301 is:

Bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (G300), interruption / short-circuit tp B+

but one thing i no understand, p3301 is error for cyl.7, but p3301 is bank 1, and the cyl.7 is in bank 2, tell me if i'm wrong..

I have already change ignition coil & spar plug

I will need help

Thanks U.S.A.

Alex

Check all the fuses. A failing ignition coil can sometimes cause the fuse to fail. I wouldn't worry about the camshaft position code until the misfire issue is corrected. Then clear all codes and retest.

Please rerun the fault codes - some of the ones you gave before are not valid faults.

What fault codes do you have now? (please reset all faults and then re-test)

hi thank you very much for your reply

i have fault code p0300, p0303 and i have sometimes p012f and told me misfire detected cylinder 3 code error p012f..

P0303 is a misfire on cylinder 3. P0300 is multiple misfires detected.

There is no fault P012F - either your code reader is bad or you are misreading it.

Most Cayenne misfires are caused by bad ignition coils - especially on the older cars. Porsche has updated these coils several times.

Thank you Loren for your reply

i have already change ignition coils, spark plug, check injector, check compression engine, check wiring,.

Sure - because they are not moving when you do a compression test.

I would get a second shop to investigate this problem as some of the results just don't make sense.

:cursing:

i've make a video

car smoke white but more than 1 week engine no work and when i've take video engine work 5min..

You need to have number 3 cylinder inspected with a scope for damage to the cylinder wall. I would also inspect the electrical connector for damage on that coil and the fuse for that circuit. Did you install an OEM plug and coil?

Posted

i've install ngk plug and beru coil..

wednesday i've change injector 3 to the 1, and now appear misfire cylinder 1, 3 and 7, maybe is fuel pump or battery, battery is little tired, and fuel pump no change!

What part number are the coils that you have in now, the last 3 digits will be 003, 005, 007 or something like that
