My car has been a little slow to turn over. Sat for a while and it has been cold lately so thought it might be the cause. Noticed batttery gauge showing below 14 volts which it commonly reads. The needle is moving when I press on gas and hasnt returned to 14 in two weeks. Battery is new, lights dont seem to be diming when on and starting or stopping. Any quick way to check charging system or part outside of chargin system that might be failing? Should I check battery first to see if its gone bad? Anyone's ideas appreciated.

loren, Ive never disconnected battery before. When i do to get checked what can i expect to happen to my car? I will need radio code? Anything else I need to be prepared for or do prior to removal?

Thank you

Just your radio code (we can help there) and your radio stations sometimes get lost.

If you leave it disconnected long enough then you will need to re-train your windows and sunroof.
