Being that I am in nj it is getting really cold as in 15 degrees this morning I decided to press my heated seat button . To my surprise the button light flashed and turn right off. I pressed the passenger side seat one and it stayed on with no problem. I then went back and pressed the driver's side button and it did the samething no dice. i know its not the button cause I swapped the driver's side with the passenger and still didn't work. Anyone have any idea what the heck could be wrong? I am thinking the fuse is ok but not sure there is one for each side? My car is 2002 996 c2. Any help would be great. I don't have access to a porsche computer and the durametric i have did not pick up any codes.

Loren,

Is the seats a pain in the *** to remove the heat element? I also just read that it might be the relay... the relay is brand new 165 lol, I found another source that has them for less. I am going to see in this order Fuse, relay, and then the element. I see this is a common problem.
