Can someone tell me if there is any other benefits to replacing coil packs and spark plugs? I really had no choice as each coil pack was cracked but just wanted to see if there was anything difference i would notice with the new coil packs or new spark plugs . The spark plugs were the same ones from factory . They had 80k miles on them so they lasted a while.

Cracked coils can lead to slight misses or misfires, trouble starting, etc. Which can lead to other problems.

Plugs are good to do every 30-45k IMHO.

So... good thing to keep on top of it and ahead of the curve.

Thanks for the response, I took it out for a spin after doing them above it ran smoother. Not, sure if it was psychological but it ran much smoother. Is that possible? The plugs looked blk after my mechanic removed them. My next thing I want to do is my coil overs, my suspension is making noises.

I usually notice a small difference with fresh plugs, but it's usually only perceptible at idle and if the old ones were in really bad shape.
