After changing my glove box lock, I was driving about 10 min after the change and got a "systems fault" light come on in the center of dash. Is this related and can it just be reset?

If something else what generally is it and cost?

Thanks for any help!

Before anyone can offer any useful help, the year and model of the car would be a good idea, as well as having the DME scanned to see what tfault code(s) triggered the display.................

^ I don't know a lot about Porsches, yet, but I don't think what he's describing is a check engine code. Those can be pulled with an OBD2 scanner, but I think his fault will need a PIWIS or other device to check its value.

If he worked on the glove box, I wouldn't be surprised if the fault has something to do with the Central Locking system.

Good point, if it's not a check engine light, but a systems fault light, you probably need a Porsche specific computer to read the fault (Durametric, PIWIS).

Would defer to above posts regarding possible reasons or further troubleshooting steps.
