Just got PSE installed on my 2006 997S and they are great. Any opinions on how much I should ask for my stock mufflers and tips. Car has 33K. Porsche of Fremont did the work and did a great job.

If the tips are chrome... you'll likely get ~ $2-250 for them but much less if just SS (I asked $275 for my chrome ones and accepted $225 which seemed to be going price). Cans... pretty much need based so if you find someone desperate (say a lease turn in going back to stock) you could get ~ $500. Otherwise likely ~$300 or so. Throw some ads out there on the various boards... may take some time for cans but unless you need them gone for cash or space, let it ride and just bump it occasionally.

Enjoy your new PSE... did they wire it fully in (w/ S/C or separate PSE switch) or leave open all the time or add a supplemental switch? Just curious.

:)

Congratulations wacole. I've been considering the same for my 08C2S. I am curious what this package ran you and where you got the PSE. If you don't want to post the answer on the forum, would you mind sending me a private post to taguirre@cityofpasadena.net

Thx

Tony

Thanks for the PM wacole. Maybe after I accumulate the parts I should take a drive up north, visit my daughter in S.F. and have the same shop install mine:-)

I might need a stock muffler and tips. My passenger side seems to have been bumped into, and the car now has a rattle after first starting. I have a 2006 997s Cab. I assume yours would fit. Anyway u can contact me? I am unsure how to contact u directly from post! thanks.
