Valentine One Hardwire install

Does anyone have any idea how to hardwire in the Valentine One into the 2012 CS?

If it's anything like my '04 Cayenne Turbo it is very simple. Get the install kit from Valentine which consists of an inline fuse holder and a small black module to plug the phone cord in to at the fusebox. My fusebox is on the driver's side under a panel right on the left side of the dash when you open the door. Just pick a fuse (I used the one that powers the 12V cigarette lighters) and tie in the red wire there. The easiest way to do it is to just wrap the wire around the blade of the fuse and shove the fuse back in place. Just make sure the wires don't hang out and come in to contact with something else.

Nest you have to tie in the ground (black wire) at the fuse box. The entire metal structure around the fusebox is grounded, so you can either remove one of the screws in that structure and place the grounding U shaped connector under in, then tighten back down, or you can drill a small hole in it and put your own metal screw in with the U connector under it. Stuff the excess cable in to the area around the fuse box. There is plenty of room.

For me it was then very simple to run the black phone cord up the corner of the dash, to the edge of the left A pillar trim and then using a small screw driver to push on it, stuff it inside the A pillar trim between the pillar and the windshield all the way to the top. Then just run it under the edge of the headliner against the windshield and up to the rear view mirror. On my '04 it stays in there just fine without anything to hold it in . You may want to reverse this procedure and start running the wire from the rear view mirror if you are unsure about how much length you need.

I use a suction cup mount to hold the VI in place just above the rear view mirror. Just plug in the unit and it should power up. The whole thing took me about 20 minutes, but I've done it a few times on different cars so I am familiar with the idea.

I should have mine in a couple of months, but every time I've been in one I keep forgetting to look for a good place to mount the concealed display. Anyone have pics on where they put theirs?
