turn indicator control

The turn indicator sender on my 99 C2 is almost inaudible if the windows are down. Coupled with the very feint green turn arrows its easy to leave the indictor on when making a gradual left or right turn. Does anyone know of a fix for this problem.

That is just the way it is. Same with a Boxster.

When I had a '99 C4, I had the same complaint. I took out the turn signal cycling relay (It's on the relay panel driver's left side foot well...turn on the turn signal, crawl into the footwell and hear/feel which one it is), carefully removed the plastic cap/cover and proceeded to swiss cheese it with about a 1/4" drill in the hopes of letting out more sound. It helped a little bit.

Thanks for the replies, I was hoping there had been an upgrade for recent models that could be used or some way of wiring in an additional sound source.
