Hello all, I've been browsing the forums and it seems I'm not the only one whose had problems with this mirror! Likely the extreme heat here in Singapore does not help matters.

My mirror suddenly seems to have moisture of some description inside - so it is very unsightly to look at. In reality I have no use for the auto dimming feature. I just want to have a nice mirror to look at again..... But I can't stomach the $900 bill at the dealership to replace this. I'd be happy to buy a replacement online and install myself.

During my browsing I have learned that the mirror might be shared with VW and Audi. Others have suggested the part is hard to come by. I've had one quote from a supplier in the UK at $600, which is still too much.

In short, can anyone point me to the right part to buy and where to buy it? If I can get a replacement with the auto dimming feature for less than $200 I'd be happy. Alternatively I don't need the auto dimming feature, so I'd be happy to replace with something that a) fits, b) looks nice (befitting a Porsche).

Many thanks
