For MY 2003, was there an option bundle for a ROC (Regular Ol' Carrera) that included the 4S/Turbo front bumper, 18" Sport Alloy Wheels and Red Calipers? Were these options available a la carte? My car also has the Tip-S. How can you tell if you have the actual "Big Reds", or if someone just painted the calipers? I'm trying to figure out how the car got the way it is - factory, dealer or after-market investments? Thanks.

:welcome:

You could certainly purchase those items and put them on yourself.

If the front and rear brake discs are the same size (330 mm) then you have C4S/Turbo brakes. Regular C2 and C4 have 318 mm front and 299 mm rear discs.

The best way to find out is from the factory option code list. Usually found under the front trunk lid and in the Maintenance book of the Owners manual set.

Thanx, Loren :) Didn't know about the list under the front lid. Owners manual set is long gone. When I was looking as a option code list I found on line, I couldn't find an option code for "Make it like a C4, but without the cool fenders and reflector". I'm thinking this owner had a very specific vision. Also at some point the double-din audio was pulled and replaced with a Pioneer Nav (with obsolete maps, pre-bluetooth, lapsed sirius, won't charge an iphone).
