Have a 2008 C2S with factory navigation. I have owned the car six months and am just starting to use the nav system. With radio on, I pushed the "nav" button (radio still playing) and put in destination directions. Directions fine and voice on nav system proceeded to give me directions but the AM radio voice was still on too. Consequently I have two voices going at the same time. When I pushed the "nav" button shouldn't the radio (or CD) gone into a mute mode automatically? Read the owners manual but no mention of this type of issue.

Thx in advance.

No, the radio goes not in mute mode. You can set the navigation voice louder or quieter versus the radio voice through the PCM menu, the how to do is included in the PCM manual delivered together with the maintenance manual. If you do not have received the manual, he will be here on this site ready to down load.

Thanks RFM. I will read the owners manual once again for the volume control on both radio and navigation and adjust accordingly.
