Hi all,

The lighting for my speedometer has failed, all the gauges work as they should, but just no lighting, which is rather annoying at night!

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks B)

Do your warning lights come on when you first start the car? turn signal indicators? hig beam indicator? Is the only thing missing the illumination for the three gages?

Are we talking about night illumination only? i.e. when the headlights are on?

If so, then try wiggling the headlight switch and see if anything changes - if does then you likely need to a new headlight switch.

Hi Loren, yes, no illumination on the speedometer when the headlight switch is on dim or main headlights.

Will wiggle the switch around and have a look.

Cheers

Well at this point you might need to remove the cluster and look for loose connections.

The MY01 and newer Boxsters have LED displays so no bulbs to change.
