Getting a set of wheels and about to order the Pirelli 240 Winter Sports. Anyone with positive experience? How about negatives?

Also, I was wondering about putting the 3M clear bra on? Worthwhile?

Thanks for your valuable input.

Drove my C4S all winter last year and driving it this year. Using Blizzaks on dedicated rims. The Pcar loves winter.

Thought about 3M bra this year but got an OEM take on/off bra for 75 bucks. Hard to beat.

I also drive my C4S all winter. I use Blizzaks on dedicated winter wheels. It performs very well as long as the snow isn't too deep!

ogun228,

do you put the ra on and take it off dependent on the expected weather, or you leave it on for the entire season? I heard it may scratch the paint, what do you think?

No, I put it on just after a snow day and then take it off shortly thereafter. It is a 10 mins process.

I had it on for a trip to SC, took it off after arriving and back on for the trip back. I haven't noticd any scratch as the lining is all felt like material. I contemplated the Xpel type but found the bra on 6speed marketplace for 75 bucks. No-brainer when compared to the Xpel price installed.
