Apologies in advance for starting a thread...I'm not a regular on here, well the regulars know that!

Anyway, a brief internet search for a solution to my cabrio malady brought me here a year ago. The top worked intermittently and then finally gave up a couple of weeks ago.

I remembered the fix posted here, frantically searched for it again and found it.

I finally found the time today and with some trepidation set about it. Well, even as crap as I am, I managed to do it!

So, thanks to "Izzy"!

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I'm also useless at forum stuff too.

I used: pentosil chf 11s. The only place that had it other than on-line was NAPA. $22.

Syringe from CVS - free.

Tubing from Ace - $2

Knowing that I can at least do something, however small, with my car: priceless.
