I follow the directions in the manual, but I still can't get the seat memory device to work. Is there some other step I'm leaving out? Here is what I do per instructions:

1. With ignition on, press and hold M.

2. Press the desired memory number 1,2,3.

There is no movement at all when I recall the seat position by pressing the number that I've programmed. Do i have to be in neutral? Does the door have to be open or the brake on? Do I need a dfferent shade of lipstick? Anyone have the fuse location that I should check? Thanks in advance.

Ignition switch has to be on (door open or not). You have to adjust the mirrors and seat to your position. After you select reverse gear only if you want the passenger mirror to swivel down for parking (to see the sidewalk) leave it in neutral if you don't want this feature. And finally you press both buttons at the same time, the M and the Number 1 or 2 or 3. To recall the seat position after it was disturb you simply open the door and press the button with have choose with the number 1 or 2 or 3. Do not press the M. The fuses are E3 for the left seat and E4 for the right seat memory. Red lipstick always a must when you want to drive aggressively ;)

Love your response. I followed your steps, which were clearer than the manual's, and it's working now. Thanks so much for your help...and make-up suggestion. Haha
