P2096 fault code

Loren,

I got this code while driving my car . I erased it with my obd II scanner but just in case it comes back what side is the bank 1 on. If I am looking at my engine what side is banks 1-3 on. I am sure the fault code is coming back....

P2096 Signal Delay Time for Oxygen Sensor Ageing - Above Limit

Possible fault cause

- Oxygen sensor

Read out regulator delay after TWC, bank 1, using PST 2 or a scan tool. It should be less than 1.2 seconds. If not, replace the oxygen sensor.

I erased the code and it has yet to come back. What is the location of the bank 1 o2 sensor?

Bank 1 on a Carrera is the left side (as you sit in the car).

There is a sensor before the cat and after cat (on US/Canada cars). Follow the header back to the O2 sensor - cat and the other O2 sensor for that side.
