987 Service Info & Tech Intro Booklet

Does anybody have the part # for this. I wanted to get a hold of one. Usually they have a "PNA" prefix to the #. Thanks for any help. :cheers:

PNA 488 521 05. There were none in the US last time I checked, since they were given to the mechanics when they went to 987 school.

Update. There were 130 of them in the US as of yesterday. If you want one then order it now.

Thanks, I'll put one on back order now. Some of the parts guys have real trouble digging up part #'s for the tech lit.

Usually about $25.

Does anyone know if there is, or if there will be, an updated version of this manual for 2006?

I assume Porsche will do for the 987 what was done for the 986. You should get the first year (2005) tech into. The first year covers everything. Each year thereafter the booklet is just a few pages telling you what is new and different for that year. It does not cover what was covered in the first year booklet.
