Hi Lauren,

Hope you are in good health; I need a couple of part numbers and if you have any graphics how they could be taken out and replaced:

- The light switch surround which is a circular piece about 3-4mm thick that goes around the switch assembly on the right side of the steering wheel on the dash (just the outer surround)

- The Shift boot surround which is usually the aluminum piece that matches the cup holder dashboard trim - the piece between the center console and the shift knob leather.

thanks in advance

Yes those exact parts - I am ordering new ones to paint them black and would like to know how easily they could be swapped. I would probably order the cheapest parts then have my local body shop take care of the paint and would put them in after.

2012 997 GTS?

color of switch surround?

color of shifter trim?

For a 2012 997 Carrera GTS...

Change out is pretty much as shown.

For the headlight surround remove the knob and then the screw inside the surround. I think this has been covered here before.

997.552.427.01.A03 Headlight knob trim -- US MSRP $16.93

Likewise with the shifter part - carefully pry the top piece off then unscrew the trim and carefully remove.

997.553.261.05.D07 Shifter trim in Volcano Grey -- US MSRP $140.82

cheers Lauren - that is great!

One more request I'm hoping you could help me with... If I get a turbo decklid + wing (997) is there a difference between the cab and coup models and since my car is a wide-body it should fit without problems, am I correct to assume that?

Thanks

I would not put a larger wing on the rear without adding the aerokit parts on the front. Last thing you would want at high speed.

I have added all the aero-kit to the front, have you read my other posts and could you please answer the questions?
