2004 Cayenne Turbo Steering Column Tilt Problem

Hello, on my 04 Cayenne Turbo the wheel still telescopes but it is stuck at the top of the tilt position and will not go down. I can hear the motor but it wont move. I have tried applying downward pressure while pressing the tilt button but I cant get it to move. Has anyone else had this problem, or does someone know a way to make it work. I have never had an issue with it till yesterday.

I have never heard of a problem with this system, best contact the dealer to see what parts are available for repair. Hopefully it's possible to replace just a failed drive gear instead of the complete steering column.
