Could somebody please send me a OBD 2 diagram, or point me to one? I purchased a used Durametric cable, and I can only read the DME and alarm modules. The other modules like the cluster, airbag, ABS are not recongized by the software.

It looks like only the K line on pin 7 is working. Pin 7 is K line, this is the bidirectional serial port to the Motronic engine control unit and Alarm.

Pin 3 is K' line, (K-"marked") this is the bidirectional serial port to the CCU, SRS, (airbag) ABS control units.

Does anbody know if pins 3 and 7 on the cable connector should be shorted together to read all the modules? I know on my BMW that the two K lines have to be shorted together to read all the modules.

Thanks!

You don't give a model or year, which would help, but here is the diagnostic socket wiring for DME5.2.2. Likely one of the orange/blue wires has become disconnected somewhere.

Edit: No - you shouldn't join the K lines.
