folks,

My 2002 C4 Cab came with nearly everything I wanted except for heated seats. I did some research on installing new seats from a Turbo, but decided to save about $2500 and go with aftermarket seat heaters from www.heaterseats.com.

I received the seat heaters, wiring harnesses, and instructions, then purchased a set of Porsche seat heater buttons and new Carbon Fiber "bat wing" to replace the stock button holder in front of the shifter.

I plan to do the install next week and needed a bit of help on the electrical side.

Does anyone have info on the stock Porsche seat heater switch wiring? I just need to know which of the 6 contacts is ground, lights, and heat level 1, 2 and 3.

I was planning to connect the + side of the heater wiring to the electric seat control. Anyone see a problem with that? (too much draw, etc.) Or would it make more sense to go straight to the fuse panel?

Any help is appreciated. I'll take photos and document the job for anyone else that would like a warm seat.

Thanks,

Paul
