Tilting Pepper Turbo 04

I came out to my drive way this morning, and my beloved little Pepper was tilting to one side. I left her in the "Normal" position, and she was still in that height, just 4-5 cm lower on the left side.

At once I started her up and adjusted down to "Loading level", and rechecked. It was still off with 3cm. Started her up and went around the neighborhood adjusting her up and down from "Spec Terrain" to "Loading" several times. She got a little more balanced, but there is still something very wrong with her. When I am driving on "Normal" it feels just like i have a puncture on the rear left. And when I am doing a right turn, she is tilting much more than usual.

So I stopped. Turned her all the way off. Started up and held the level adjustment switch back for 30 secs to turn off the PASM adjustment. I then turned off. Started again and held the level adjustment switch forward for 8 seconds to turn the PASM on again. When its activated it gave me "Air Suspension Failure. Workshop", however everything seemed to work nicely... except for the lower left side. When i restarted her, the air suspension alert went away again.

Anyone have any ideas how I can get her back straight again???

By the way, I am not hearing any extra compressor work or any "swiiiiiish" sounds from the adjustable damper. She has been standing in "Spec Terrain Level" now for a couple of hours and nothing has chanced.

My Porsche dealer is all the way on the other side of Warsaw, so I am deeply hoping I wont have to go there with her...

Does anybody know if I can adjust the suspension calibration with the Durametric Enthusiast version?

I know you can check fault code on Durametric for the air suspension but not sure about it working for anything else. You must have a leak in the system and have to start by checking codes.

If there was a leak, wouldnt the compressor keep trying to pump? The adjustment of the height is based on a physical measurement by the ride height sensors, connected to the suspension mechanically with the links. So my deduction would be that they would keep trying to get up to the same level as the others.. again and again with the compressor running hard? Mine seem to be just happy staying 3-4 cm lower no matter. I was under the car trying to see if there is any damage to the sensors or the link to the suspension on that side, but it all looks identical to on the working side..... :(

The level sensors have been problematic throwing errors but I have not seen one that was actually causing uneven height. There are 2 air storage bottles and 2 compressors. Sounds like one system may be down. Holding pressure is not the issue its the changing during regular driving since its always on the move.

Really. I thought there was only 1 compressor.

"bigsuzuki", there is indeed only one air suspension compressor present, i think "mudman" means the air distribution valves housing.

So what could be causing the tilted attitude on the OPs Cayenne?

Small update on the tilting.. its getting smaller... I have been driving it around carefully the last couple of days, and regulating it up and down several times. Standing in "Normal" its still 2cm higher on the one side (less than before). Double checked the tires and everything, but all seem fine.

When having the firmness setting to "Sport" and driving into a right turn (so it puts pressure on the left side, which is the lower one) it feels like the left side is flexing as if i was in "Comfort" mode. I will do some more testing in "Comfort" mode to see if the difference is still noticeable.

Porsche Center in Warsaw seems to be hiding from my calls now ;)

If all of the suspension related mechanical parts, sensors, pneumatic parts, connectors and wiring's are visually in good condition, then only a PIWIS diagnostic can help.
