I've a Boxster 2001 with cup holders just above the radio. I'd like to know for those who doesn't have the cup holders, what is the # of the plastic plate there. I tried everywhere but nobody can't tell me how and where to get that plastic plate. Many thanks for your time.

Do not understand your question. Do not know what plastic plate you want.

If you are looking for the trim piece in the pic it is 996 552 287 00 01C.

If you want to remove the cupholders then there is no blanking plate that goes there to cover the hole. Instead, you remove the cup holder assembly and move the a/c display up to where the cupholders use to be. Then you put in a storage bin to where the a/c display use to be.

Thank you for your answer Tool Pants but I'm not intend to move the A/C at the place of the cup holders, instead, I'm looking for a blanking plate ( plastic if possible ) to insert 2 or 3 new gauges above the radio, instead of the cup holders. I try to find something that will support the new gauges like a new plastic blanking plate.

Thanks.

I do not see a blank plate for that location on the parts list.

You would have to get something custom made, as Porsche does not have such a part.

Well if you say so it's because you know what you're talking about. I'll have to find someone to make a custome blank plate to install my gauges after.

Many thanks for your time.
