suddenly stiff clutch

Hi,

I'm the original owner of a 2003 996 Turbo with under 30k miles.

today while driving, the clutch suddenly became stiff to depress. I had no trouble shifting or driving and was able to get home. Now I notice a small fluid leak under the car at the driver seat which wasn't there before. The clutch is even more stiff now when the car is turned off.

If this is a clutch fluid leak, can I safely refill it to get me to the shop? or will I need to have it flatbedded?

Is this a sign of clutch failure?

New to this forum. Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like the clutch slave cylinder accumulator has failed. Search the site for more information as it has been covered before.
