Coolant leak with sqealing sound

I have a 01 boxter with 95k on it. After leaving a local store, I heard a squealing/rattling noise that sounded like loose belt. When I looked in my rear view, I saw with fine smoke rising from the passenger side rear vent. I drove about a mile home. The temperature was up a little - about 190 (usually right at 185), but it may been b/c of the hot weather. No lights came on. When I got home, I notice a small drip beneath the car - right in front of the right rear tire. The drip became larger as time elapsed. Based upon what I've read here - it appears that I need a new water pump - any thoughts appreciated.

It could be water pump. It could also be AOS or a blown hose.

It would help if you could take some pictures of the area that is leaking, to identify where the leak might be coming from.

I don't recommend driving the car or starting the engine until this problem is addressed.
