Hi Everyone!!

I'm hoping someone can help me with this new problem my 04 CTT just started developing.

On the dash it says, check license plate lights, check reversing lights, check brake lights.

Sure enough upon visual inspection, none of the two tag lights work, the driver's side reverse light doesn't work and the driver's side brake light doesn't work. We changed all of the bulbs and the same thing. Checked all of the fuses, none blown. Took to the tail light with a test light and it seems like none of those sockets are getting power.

Does this vehicle carry a body control module or lighting control module that may have gone bad? Has anyone else experienced these same problems? I'd like to try to fix it myself before shelling out $$$$$ at the stealership.

Thanks for all your help in advance!

Yes, there is a control module for all those devices.

Any shop with a Porsche PIWIS tester can (and should) try re-programming the module before replacing it.

Sorry, but you will need a shop with a PIWIS tester.

Try pulling and reseating the following fuses on the left and right dash panel in order to reset power.

15 and 53 on the left.

14 and 31 on the right.

They are for the comfort systems rear control unit which controls the items you listed.
