The bearing went in as expected, but I could not get the **** rotor back on over the parking brake shoes...not sure why.

Car is on a jack stand so I could use some help on this one pretty soon. Any photos or schematic on how the bottom part of the assembled brake shoes is supposed to look would be great. I have the bently manual but it's pretty lean on the subject. Seems really simple, spent 3 hours on the bearing and so far 2 on the brake shoes.

Also, for the ball joint, do I just reattach with the bolt or use the tool to press it in place?

Thanks all, standing by for a response.

Use the turnbuckle to adjust the parking brake shoes in - then the rotor should go on.

Of course you will need to readjust the parking brakes when you are done.

I think I figured it out... When pulling the bearing I must have tweaked the backing plate so it is a bit out of round, tried to pursuade it but its just not working. Is there a way to remove the backing plate without pulling the hub I just set into place ?!? That would not be fun.
