My 996 C4 Cabrio leaks in the rain!

After a weekend of heavy rain here in Singapore I noticed a musty smell in the car. Checked floor mats and found those in the rear soaking wet. Foot wells back there were filled up. I can't see where the rain is getting in. Someone suggested there might be some sort of internal drainage system that has become blocked. Just wondering if anyone out there has experienced this before? I'm concerned that constant water will rust out my floor pans.

As a starter here's a diagram showing the drains

what I've done is to take the rear wheels off, take the plastic cover off, you'll be able to see the drain. Clean it off and you'll be fine.
