Just got my durametric and tested it on my 993TT and got some codes on the heating system.

Where do i find the explanation of these codes, i can only find them for the newer cars in the quick menu. I have a Vagcom for my Golf and rosstech has a some solutions for each code. Does Durametric have something similar?

Here are the codes:

15

22

23

24

43

44

45

Thanks

I don't know if Durametric has these or not. But here is the information from the 993TT service manual.

Fault code 15 -- Rear blower temp. sensor Short to ground or open circuit, short to ground or open circuit

Fault code 22 -- Defroster flap motor Signal unplausible

Fault code 23 -- Footwell flap motor Signal unplausible

Fault code 24 -- Left mixing flap motor Signal unplausible

Fault code 43/46 -- Rear blower motor -Stage 1 seized

Fault code 44/47 -- Rear blower motor -Stage 2 seized

Fault code 45 -- Inside sensor motor Signal unplausible

With this many faults it would make me want to check to see if a connector is not plugged in or damaged.

Thanks for a quick reply.

I'll check into that, any idea where that plug could be located??

I'll clear the codes and run durametric again to see.
