Hi,

Is there a way to program my C2 so that it beeps the horn when I lock the car. This would make it useful to ensure that the car is actually locked and alarmed when I walk away from it. I often turn around to see the light blink for positive confirmation, but sometimes I miss the short flash.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sure, just unplug the oddments tray sensor, or ground the radio sensor.

Then of course your alarm system will be pissed off, but you'll get a BEEP telling you your radio or oddments tray are not secure.

LOL.

Go to Mods4cars.com and take a look at the RemoteKey module they sell for Porsche coupes. Will let you set the horn to beep when locking and unlocking the car along with some other usefull features. Had one the SmartTop module for my Boxster and have one now for my C4S. Great gadge. Easy to install and operate.
