996 tt X50 fuel pump

Hello,

Could you tell me if my 996tt X50(2002) has the same fuel pump with the 996 Gt2 ??

My fuel pump has No: 996 620 027 00

996.620.107.02 is the correct fuel pump for an RoW MY02 996TT (LHD) (no mention of X50).

996.620.057.92 is the fuel pump for an RoW MY02 996 GT2 (no mention of X50).

The GT2 uses a different fuel tank so I would not use the GT2 fuel pump unless you know someone that has done that successfully.

I want to tune my X50 and my tuner (Mike Paridis -EVOMS partner) told me that I m going to need a gt2 fuel pump.

I wonder if my car has the same fuel pump like the K24 turbos and the ic from a Gt2 because is a X50.

Can anyone help me with the Number of mine fuel pump...???

I thought I was clear -- there is no distinction from a regular turbo and an X50 turbo for fuel pumps.

The GT2 has a differently shaped fuel tank - which is why I stated a concern over using a GT2 fuel pump in a turbo fuel tank.

If your tuner knows better then do as he says (but complain to him if you have problems).

Your fuel pump part number comes up as invalid in all my Porsche parts lists.

Sorry, that is still not a Porsche number.

The number I quoted you above is direct from the Porsche parts list for RoW cars - it was updated at the first of this month. So, I am sure the part numbers are correct.
