Hi, I am new to this forum and so far find it helpful. I am trying to determine Brake part numbers (Front and Rear pads). I have a 2008 Cayenne S with 18 inch wheels and silver painted calipers. I located the Production Codes in the trunk near the spare (photo attached). From what I can gather from various searches and this label, the front build code is I1LL and the rear is I1KY. My problem is that when I check part numbers for the build codes listed, the fronts match up but the rear build code indicates 17" wheels. Does anyone have experience with this problem? Searching parts catalogs, the rear pads for 18" wheels with silver calipers are listed for build code I1KP. I definately have 18" wheels and silver calipers with I1KY. I'm confused!

Front pads (18" Silver front brake discs): 955.351.939.15 Pad set -- US MSRP $256.06

Rear pads (17" Silver rear brake discs): 955.352.939.03 Pad set -- US MSRP $145.63

Be sure to check your disc thickness too - Cayenne's are know to go through discs (rotors) at about the same rate as pads. I think that is likely because of the car's weight.

OK thank you so very much! I was confused by the 18"/17" information. I measured the actual rotors and they are far smaller than 17 or 18 inches, so I concluded it was referring to the wheel size. Having 18" wheels all around, I was uncertain of the spec. Thanks again! This forum is awesome. For anyone interested, I have a great parts list with diagrams for the Cayenne. I'm not sure if it already exists on the site.

This site is awesome. I love working on my own cars, so I decided to make a small contribution to start off. I know I will be here for information and help again. Thank you again for the quick response.
