CDR220 - -Radio code

Say I lost the code card. Could the radio ( as it is installed and working) show me the code ie is there a set of buttons I can push to expose the radio code??? I am looking at the hand book but there is not information around that.

You can read the radio code with a PST2, so it would mean a trip to the dealer.

The radio will not show you the code but it will show you the serial number. From the serial number any dealer can give you the code (they may also want proof of ownership). You can get the serial number by turning on the radio. Then hold down the TP button for about 10 seconds. The radio will beep, then use the knob to scroll over and you'll see the serial number.

The service writer looked mine up on the Porsche network using the VIN.

Sometimes the dealer or a previous owner will put the code on the option list pasted to the hood.

The radio code card is normaly in the book :(

I have mine written on the option sticker under the front hood lid... no problems...
