When I turn the ignition, the AC comes on full blast (which it normally doesnt do) and the climate control screen is blank, and none of the buttons work to turn down the vents or anything like that. It just blasts cool air at the loudest possible power. I can hit the screen a few times and finally get it to come on and then adjust the power down (i usually have it off all together).

What could be causing this? This has happened the last two times I started my car and I drove it everywhere yesterday without a problem until later on.

I'd start by replaceing the electrical portion of the ignition switch. Then if things still act up check the fuses and conections into the climate control module.

Ok. Also I should note the climate control unit is brand new as the one in the car when it was at the dealer had a cracked screen.

Yes they replaced it with the exact same part.

No I havent taken it out yet. I don't have the little pry tool. I was just coming here first and foremost to see if anyones ever had this before I do anything. I'll be checking it out over the next few days and post my results for anyone else that ever has the problem in the future.

I think I know why the original unit had a cracked screen now lol

And the thing is being summer top down weather I wouldn't mind it so much if it didnt work and just defaulted to off which is what I have it on but the dang thing comes on full blast louder than I've ever heard an AC unit.
