Hi all 996 1998 cab rear spoiler proplem. warning light is always on spoiler goes up at around 70 mph but does not go down unless i use button in foot well. i have change rear spoiler complete. with secound hand. changed relays and cleaned and checked Contact (plug) in boot !!! i have looked at wiring diagram and found it is controlled by dash. i have checked dash gets up and down signal from spoiler (when up its says up ect) if i put live feed to signal from dash plug it will raise or lower spoiler any ideas please. is there any more plugs to check ??

This has happened to at least a couple of folks here. Check the spoiler connector for corrosion. Disconnect it and clean it with a good electronics cleaner then reconnect and give it a try.

i have checked this plug it was corroded but i have cleaned it and checked it i will prop remove and solder connections soon as this prop is driving me mad now (Ha Ha ) :help: is there any more connections as looking on Wiring diagram it looks like there is one somewhere. if i unplug this plug light goes out until i reach 70 mph
